Members and permissions
Invite teammates and control what they can do with roles.
Add teammates to your workspace under Settings → Members and give each a role.
Roles
- Viewer — read-only.
- Writer — create and edit drafts.
- Editor — write, publish, and manage taxonomy.
- Admin — manage members, API keys, and content.
- Owner — full control, including site settings and billing.
You can only assign roles up to your own level, and only an owner can grant the owner role. Permissions are enforced in the UI, the API, and the database, so isolation between workspaces is guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
How do I let someone publish but not change settings?
Give them the Editor role. Editors can write, publish, and manage taxonomy, but only Owners can change site settings, domains, and billing.
